APPRECIATION TUESDAY!
Tuesday is your day to appreciate, appreciate, appreciate! Especially appreciate the past great times in your life and the great times of the future. Take this time to appreciate the little things that we take for granted: the weather, your home, your food, your bed, your families, your colleagues, your health, and your JOB!! I want you to know that your students appreciate you! You are creating an incredible life for yourself and for your students. Have a wonderful Tuesday!! Your are appreciated because you are YOU!!

2010
It's great to be back !! Happy New Year to everyone! I hope everyone had a relaxing and fun-filled Christmas Break, I know I did. Make 2010 the best one yet!!!!
GOOD THOUGHTS MONDAY!
Think good thoughts for you and think good thoughts for others. Refuse to give your attention attention to anything that will not produce good thoughts. On average, humans think well over 50,000 thoughts a day, so you have 50,000 opportunities to think good thoughts today!! I am sure that out of the 50,000 thoughts you have today, lots of them will be for our school, our students, and our co-workers! 2010 is going to be a great year at Wood River!!
Welcome back everyone. This year is going to be fabulous and I love working with all of you.

Kinder Pajama Party
The kinder classes won the can food drive for the needy and won a pajama and popcorn party. We learned that it feels really good to help out people that are not as fortunate. We have spent the day in our pajamas watching the Polar Express, drinking hot chocolate and eating popcorn. We also spent part of the day making crafts and reading Christmas books. It was a very fun day! Happy Holidays to everyone.
